Union County Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a member owned cooperative. As a cooperative we allocate all excess margins (capital credits or patronage) annually to members based on revenue collected over the year from that account. The board of directors retires the capital credits (patronage) according to our bylaws. By-laws allow early retirement, at a discounted rate, when a member dies.
