Appliance Monitoring

Woman at refrigerator

Have you ever wondered how much electricity is used by your refrigerator or freezer or other common household appliances? If the answer is yes, let Union County Electric lend a hand. We have several plug-in type kWh monitors that you can sign out to use in your home. These monitors are very handy for helping members to learn how much energy a certain piece of equipment uses. These meters work only on 120 Volt appliances and have a maximum current rating of 15 Amps which should handle nearly all household appliances.

Call us to schedule a time to pick up a monitor and have a quick lesson.
